【Who is Allie Shehorn?】Hollywood Makeup Artist Allie Shehorn Stabbed 20+ Times by Ex-Boyfriend Days After Restraining Order

Hollywood makeup artist Allie Shehorn is recovering after allegedly being stabbed more than 20 times by her ex-boyfriend at her Los Angeles home, just days after obtaining a restraining order against him.

Allie Shehorn, 35, known for her work on productions such as ‘Mean Girls’ and ‘Rebel Moon,’ was nearly killed on May 23 in the attack. The alleged attacker, who has not been named, fled the scene before being arrested in Texas.

Shehorn remains in the hospital following multiple surgeries and is reportedly in “really good spirits” despite her ordeal, according to KTLA. She is expected to spend a month in ICU followed by extensive physical therapy.

Shehorn’s surrogate mother, Christine White, was staying with her in her Shadow Hills home during the attack. White returned home to find Shehorn surrounded by blood in her bedroom.

“This is not the kind of thing that should happen to anybody,” White told KTLA. “You don’t think this is ever going to happen to you.”

A GoFundMe page set up to help Shehorn with her mounting medical bills noted that White’s quick action in finding Shehorn and calling for help saved her life.

The makeup artist suffered numerous stab wounds, including injuries to her neck, arms, and abdomen, but survived thanks to prompt medical intervention.

Her friend Christopher Wayne told KTLA, “The fact that she was able to get through what she did that night and how fast she’s recovering is really amazing.”

Shehorn’s ex-boyfriend, who allegedly attacked her, was arrested while attempting to flee the country at the Texas-Mexico border. He had recently been released on bail after a previous arrest for domestic violence.

According to the fundraiser, Shehorn had filed a restraining order against the man, but he attacked her immediately after being released on bail.

Shehorn has worked on more than 70 released films and over 20 upcoming movies, as noted on her Internet Movie Database page.

Jed Dornoff, one of the organizers of the fundraiser, said Shehorn met the man accused of stabbing her on the set of the Zach Snyder-directed ‘Rebel Moon.’ He expressed shock at the ex-boyfriend’s violent behavior, saying, “This person was a part of a lot of people’s lives and seemed stable. I was there from the beginning when they met on the film set of ‘Rebel Moon’ to many dinners and outings to when he asked her out and so on.”
